Trail Running Weekend Breaks — Guided 2-Day Trips

    Certified guides UK-wide Fast turnaround

Two days, one region, no planning. A trail running weekend is the shortest trip that still feels like a proper escape.

A trail running weekend break is our most-booked format, and it's the easiest one to say yes to. You arrive Friday evening or early Saturday, run two guided days on the best ground the region has, and you're home Sunday night having covered routes it would have taken you a season to find on your own.

We run weekends in the Lake District, the Peak District and Snowdonia, plus the Cotswolds, Yorkshire Dales and Cornwall on request.

    Who books a weekend

    • Runners who want a trail experience without taking annual leave
    • Road runners making a first move to trail, with a guide to remove the guesswork
    • Friend groups and clubs wanting a private weekend, which works out cheapest per person
    • Runners in ultra training who need two hard back-to-back days on real terrain

    2. Saturday — the big route — full day out, packed food, summits or coast depending on the region
    3. Sunday — a shorter route on tired legs, finished early enough for the drive or train home

    Frequently asked questions

Can I run two days in a row?

Yes, and it's the single best training stimulus in the whole trip. Sunday is deliberately shorter and gentler, and your guide sets the pace off how the group actually looks.

    Is Friday night accommodation included?

Optional. We can bundle accommodation into the quote or leave you to book your own — plenty of people who live nearby just drive over on Saturday morning.

What if I'm slower than the rest of the group?

You won't be left behind. Small groups get split by pace, and on trail the spread between runners is far smaller than on road because everyone walks the steep sections.

Can we book a private weekend?

Yes. Private weekends for clubs, friend groups and workplaces are one of our most common bookings and are cheaper per head than joining an open group.
