Lakeland Traverse 50k — Guided Point-to-Point Fell Run
Fifty kilometres across the Lake District, coast side to valley floor, guided point-to-point with your bag moved for you.
This is our ultra-distance day: a genuine traverse rather than a loop, crossing several valleys and climbing over 2,000 metres in total. It's built for runners with ultra experience, or those training for one who want a hard, supported long day on classic fell ground.
We move your kit between start and finish, carry group safety gear, and set the pace so you finish rather than blow up at 35km. Prefer a shorter Lakeland day? See the Lake District tours or the Lake District weekend.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need ultra experience?
Ideally yes — a 50k or a very long hilly day in the last year. If you're building towards it, we'll suggest a stepping-stone route first.
Is the route fixed?
The traverse line is fixed; the exact high sections change with visibility and wind.
Is food provided?
We provide water and basics at two support points. Bring the nutrition you know works for you.
Can I do it as part of a training block?
Yes — a lot of runners use it as their long peak day before an autumn ultra.
How do I book?
Book a call. We confirm dates against guide availability and river-crossing conditions.
Ready to run?
Tell us your dates, your rough weekly mileage and where you'd like to run. We'll come back with the routes we'd recommend, availability and a price.
